I enjoyed doing this project because it went back in time. I have never tried to do "old looking" photos, but this was kind of the start. I was able to have almost all of the objects except for the instrument the lady is using in the top picture. Instead I used a banjo. The only thing I couldn't figure out how to do was to make the lighting more dark, almost as if she was sitting in a basement with only a few candles. All in all, I like how the photo turned out because it looks pretty similar to the original photo.
This is my favorite picture from this project because I love how the dog is in a natural pose and just lounging. I like how the dog's fur looks sleek and shiny and sharp. It really makes the dog stick out from the rest of the background. I also love how the dog's eyes really are vibrant. I edited the picture to be a little bit of a vintage/retro look. I really like how it turned out.
This is one of my favorite toy pictures because I love how the light shining on the orange car looks like the headlights from grey car. It is kind of cool because it really does look like a real life scene.
I really enjoy this picture because I love how you can see the blue color of the iceberg. This was an unusual picture because this was a flipped iceberg. Usually you see the snowy part of the iceberg, but this is the other side of it that is usually under water. This is a rare instance. I love how the photographer didn't just get the iceberg, but they also got the water too which was good for the reflection. I love the sharpness of the picture and how you can see the shape of the iceberg. You can see the ruggedness and sharp points of the iceberg. I think color was used nicely in this photo because there are different shades of blue which really make certain parts of the picture stand out. This is a very nice picture!
I really love this photo by Maci MacPherson. To me, it kind of shows the beauty of the world. I love how you can be above the clouds, but can still see life below or see parts of the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon contrasts quite well against the clouds and the pastel sky. I also think the photographer used good space in this photo because the canyon is close to the viewer's eye rather than farther away which puts the focus on the canyon sticking out of the clouds. I can also see the texture in this photo. On the canyon, you can see the rigidity of it and also see the lines etched on the rock. You can also see the "softness" of the clouds in the sky. Very nice photo!
